It's Grace

No theory commend it,
No fact can up-end it,
And time can't suspend it,
This mystery called Grace.

No force apprehend it,
No lawyer defend it,
No judgement can bend it,
Love holds it in place.

Lord never amend it,
I'm grateful You send it,
Will I comprehend it,
When I see Your face?

( Gods' Grace... it's AMAZING!)

Thank you for this poem. I needed it. I need to remember about this Grace. I pray my mother-in-law truly knows this Grace, as well. I just got a call from my husband. Her time on this earth is very short. Please pray for her.

Bigger than time for sure. Hopefully we'll "get it" one day.

Elaine...so beautiful. I love how your poem reflects the desire to comprehend it and yet the humility that we really can't...and although we will understand it as perfect forever face-to-face, I think we will also have an eternity to deepen in it...it's infinite well. His matchless, indescribable Beauty:)
